DIT College of Business to host AKAM’s Inaugural Annual Conference 2017

DIT College of Business are proud to host the Inaugural Annual Conference for The Association for Key Account Management (AKAM).
AKAM are hosting their Inaugural Annual Conference for practitioners and academics in the Key Account management field at the College of Business in Aungier Street on Thursday 2nd November 2017. International key speakers on the day include Rainer Schröder-Global Account Manager, ABB Semiconductor (Germany) Conor O’Malley, Salesforce (Ireland), Marco Reijntjens, Director Tenacity Europe (The Netherlands) Dr Jakob Rehme, Professor of Industrial Economics and Management, Linköping University (Sweden) and Richard Ilsley, SMCG (UK).
Dr Anthony Paul Buckley, Assistant head, School of Marketing and company secretary for AKAM commented that ‘DIT College of Business is a natural host for an association like AKAM which prides itself on its pracademic approach. AKAM, like DIT, is practice-based and research informed and therefore provides an appropriate forum for practitioners and academics alike to exchange ideas, research and next practice’.
AKAM aims to increase informed appreciation and recognition of KAM, while raising standards of performance. AKAM is forging links across the world between practitioners, academics and consultants, to the benefit of all. Currently hosted by Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland, AKAM is an independent body representing the KAM industry in Europe and worldwide.
