Collaboration with industry and the professions will be at the heart of ESHI's activity. ESHI will have access to a number of support groups including DIT's technology and commercialization office, DIT Hothouse, ESHI Connect and DIT Foundation.

ESHI is located in The Greenway Hub, a new research and innovation building on DIT's Grangegroman campus. Also located in this building is DIT Hothouse, the award-winning, Innovation and Technology Transfer Office responsible for the commercialisation of intellectual property arising from DIT research. DIT Hothouse is the hub of innovation and technology transfer activities in DIT, the place where business meets innovation.
