DIT Bolton Street Students from 1957 Receive Diplomas

DIT Bolton Street celebrated the first whole-time engineering course which saw its first graduates in 1957. In that specific year the College of Technology at Bolton Street did not have awarding powers and so these five students did not receive their diploma award, equivalent to today’s degree programme. The College of Engineering and Built Environment has now honoured these five graduates at a reception at Bolton Street as the pioneers of the whole-time engineering course at DIT.  Congratulations to Patrick Roche, Patrick McHugh, Gerard Kelly, Arthur Purton and Tony Caffrey
