How to set DIT email out of office 

  • Go to
  • Click on the staff email link
  • Enter your user ID (staff number) and password and click login.
  • click on "options" in the bottom left hand corner
  • Click the triangle beside local account and then click "vacation message"
  • Tick the "enable auto-reply" box
  • Change the Start Date and End date. 
  • Set the "hours between replies" as required.
  • Then Change the Auto-reply Message. (fill out both "message to co-workers" and "message to other senders"
  • Click on "save preferences"
