Aungier St Room Guide
Request Equipment

Most rooms on the Aungier St campus have audio and projection equipment installed along with a PC and podium. Each room has additional connectivity for PC laptops. Mac users must provide their own personal VGA adaptor to use in-classroom technology. Interactive Whiteboards are available in select multimedia teaching spaces.  Specialised computer labs, Apple media learning labs, and multimedia recording studios are located within the School of Media Studies.  Consult the Aungier St Room Guide to find out what equipment is installed in a specific classroom.

Additional projectors/screens, PA systems, LCD Display Televisions, laptops, DVD players, and cameras are available for short term loan.

Aungier St is also the home of our Video Conferencing specialist. Contact Roy to make an enquiry about Video Conferencing facilities available to staff.

Aungier Street also has spaces for conferences and events:

The Boardroom is a large meeting space with projector, podium, and computing facilities most commonly used for interviews, PHd presentations/exams, and department meetings. Desks and chairs in the room are modular and can be reconfigured to suit as needed. Bookings are made through Aungier St College Managers office, and a calendar of scheduled events is available online

Meeting Rooms

Several meeting rooms are available throughout the building for staff use. Meeting rooms contain LCD display screens with laptop connectivity and audio facilities. Desks are stationary and chairs are arranged in a 'round table' style configuration to encourage dialogue and open discussion. Bookings are made through Aungier St College Managers office.

Collaborative Learning Spaces

Several collaborative learning spaces have been set up to provide students with meeting spaces. Located on Floors 1 to 4 behind and above the Library, these spaces have a large 40” LED Screen with connectivity for laptop and audio and contain seating for up to six students with open access for group work.

The Telematics facility is a high tech video editing and teleconferencing centre located in Aungier St room 3-005. Telematics offers ISDN, IP, and Voice conferencing services along with audio/video capture, editing, and duplication. Bookings for the Telematics facility are managed by Media Services. Simply submit a request to Roy Moore
