Congratulating the award winners, Mr. Bob Kavanagh, head of Graduate Studies and Research in DIT, said the organisers were extremely impressed with the standard of presentations and with the interest generated by the conference. "This inaugural postgraduate research conference has been very successful and it will now become an annual event in DIT. In addition to all the participants, we would particularly like to thank HEAnet and DIT's ICT Services for enabling the proceedings to be broadcast live on the web. This meant that some of our colleagues working on other campus sites - and other interested parties - could tune in during the two days if they were unable to attend in person".

The broadcast will be archived and made available on this website shortly.
