IEE Faraday Lecture - Friday 03 March, DIT Kevin Street

The 2006 IEE Faraday Lecture will be delivered in DIT Kevin Street on Friday 03 March. Entitled "Emission Impossible - Can Technology Save the Planet?" this one-hour lecture will consider the state of Planet Earth in 2006: "The population is increasing, and the rising demands for energy and food are pushing the planet further and further into danger. A team of engineers and scientists, in a race against time, is struggling to understand this new threat. Can they find a solution? And can they do it before it's too late?"
