Cinemas screen film by DIT graduate

Recent DIT graduate Liam Nolan and co-director Ross Whitaker, will see their brilliant feature documentary 'Saviours' open in Dublin cinemas next week.  Liam who co-directed this very moving film, graduated in 2003 with a BSc in Communications from the School of Media.  Their film is described as "an intimate and gripping documentary following the lives of three young boxers from one inner city Dublin boxing club".  Opening in Irish cinemas from October 3, the film follows Darren Sutherland (OLYMPIC Bronze medalist), Dean Murphy and Abdul Hussain as they fight for a better life both inside and outside the ring. DIT School of Media graduate Liam Nolan and co-director Ross Whitaker passionately filmed this documentary for two years with no budget until the Irish Film Board offered completion funding after viewing a rough cut.

SAVIOURS opens OCTOBER 3rd in: Cineworld Parnell St / UCI Tallaght / VUE Liffey Valley / Lighthouse Smithfield.
