DIT GAA Club Annual Fundraiser

DIT GAA Club’s Annual Fundraiser takes place on Tuesday 11th of November 2008. Staff and students are invited to attend a ‘Night at the Dogs’ at Harold’s Cross Stadium. 

Tickets priced €12 are available from the GAA stand in Aungier Street, Bolton Street & Kevin Street campuses next Monday & Tuesday between 10a.m. - 4p.m.

Ticket price includes:

  •  Entry to Harold's Cross Dog Track
  •  Programme for Night's Racing
  •  Sausage & Chips
  •  Bus Transfer to Harcourt Street
  •  Entry to Copper Face Jacks (R.O.A.R)

DIT GAA club has over three hundred members from all over Ireland and fields teams in Hurling, Camogie, Football, Handball and Ladies Football. The club fields 14 teams in total and competes in Division 1 Sigerson Football and Division 1 Fitzgibbon Hurling as well as at Intermediate, Junior and Fresher level. DIT are the current All-Ireland Freshers’ Football Division 1 champions.

Sport plays a central role in DIT and the Institute’s Sports Scholarship Programme offers students of outstanding sporting ability the opportunity to combine an academic course with excellence in sport. The Institute has awarded scholarships across a number of sports including Gaelic games, soccer, athletics, rugby, golf, martial arts, motor sport and others.
