Hothouse launches DIT Inventors Competition 2008

Hothouse couldn’t agree more as the 2008 DIT Inventors Competition gets well underway. Due to the high level of requests the closing date has been extended to 16/05/08. The competition, in its third year aims to promote innovation and creativity taking place within DIT and recognise DIT inventors.

To be in with a chance to win, simply email a description of your invention, along with answers to the three following questions to Linda.walsh@dit.ie. Good luck.

  • What have you invented?
  • Where will it be used?
  • What are the advantages?  

The closing date has been extended to 16/05/08.

The competition is divided into two categories and a Best Overall Invention Award;

  • Best Overall Invention Award sponsored by Hanna, Moore & Curley - €1,500
  • Best Staff, Post Grad and Researcher Invention Award - €500
  • Best Undergraduate Student Invention Award - €500
