DIT and HP Launch Innovation Forum Lecture Series 2009

Best practice in sustainable school design was the topic of the first lecture of the Dublin Institute of Technology / Hewlett Packard Innovation Forum 2009 which took place on Tuesday 17th February in DIT Bolton Street. ‘Public Private Partnership: The Case for Sustainable Schools’ was presented by DIT PhD student, Renuka Rajput.

Now in its third year, the Innovation Forum  brings together DIT academics and experts from the construction industry to discuss issues relating to the Built Environment and Innovation. The series of lectures  will look at the challenges facing the Irish construction industry and the importance of innovation for Irish business, with a series of lectures on topics such as Energy and Buildings, a Commercial Approach and the Living Building – Building Information Modelling.

HP currently sponsors two postgraduate Masters programmes in DIT, one in the area of the Built Environment and one with the DIT Community Links programme.
