The school of Hospitality Management and Tourism's Get Smart! initiative brought all first year students together for its Get Smart! workshop on February 26th. In line with Get Smart!'s themes of personal and professional development, Kathryn Thomas from RTE's "No Frontiers" enthralled students with her tips for getting the most from first year, as well as giving students an insight into building a successful career. Micheline Corr from the recruitment company "The Firm" , along with DIT's Peter Lewis, spoke of the need for professionalism in career preparation.

Students also engaged in group activities in what was a fun and creative morning.
