An evening event to inform you of developments in airborne,ground-based and vehicle-mounted laser scanning

The Department of Spatial Information Sciences at DIT is pleased to invite you to this event as part of its Developments Series of Programmes for Industry. Programmes are also offered in its Fundamentals Series, Specialisation Series and Showcase Series. Attendance at this event is free of charge but registration is required. It is supported by the Society of Chartered Surveyors and Irish Institution of Surveyors.

Laser scanning systems deliver dense, accurate, georeferenced point clouds, which may be processed to generate 3D data for terrain or object models. Airborne, ground-based and mobile vehicle-mounted laser scanning systems are increasingly used in many sectors and applications. This event will review current system capabilities and highlight anticipated developments.
