2nd November 2012

From DIT to Élysée Palace: Ms Hélène Conway-Mouret, Minister Delegate for French Nationals Abroad and former Head of School of Languages in Dublin Institute of Technology, returned to DIT today (02 November, 2012) for a public talk on a topic close to her heart, Women in Politics.  In June 2012, the newly elected President of France, M. Francois Hollande, appointed Ms Hélène Conway-Mouret as Minister Delegate for French Nationals Abroad in his government. The appointment caped a remarkable year for Hélène who has worked in DIT for over 25 years.  Returning to DIT today as French Minister and Member of the Parliamentary Delegation for the Rights of Women and Equal Opportunities between Men and Women, Hélène told of her unusual route to French Government and spoke of the challenges facing women in politics.
