2013 Annual Fund accepting grant applications now

  • DIT Annual Fund is now open for grant applications from staff and students

  • Generous donors make €10,000 fund available for worthy projects in DIT.

25 January 2013: The DIT Foundation has announced that €10,000 is available from the DIT Annual Fund to provide grants for great projects run by DIT students or members of staff. Julie Stafford, Annual Fund Manager, said “The Fund is dedicated to enhancing the DIT student experience and the grants are made to projects and actions that cannot be financed through core DIT funding. We are inviting students or staff, clubs or societies, who can demonstrate how their project can make a real and tangible difference to DIT students, to apply for an Annual Fund grant.”

Applications can be made under the following headings:

  • Student educational support
  • Campus life including clubs and societies
  • Developing excellence in teaching and research
  • Community projects run by DIT staff and students

Project applications will be considered by the Annual Fund Giving Team which includes representatives of donors, academic staff, Students’ Union and the Graduate Network.
