Count Me In – Employing & Supporting Staff with Disabilities survey now open

Posted: 10 February, 2015

All staff, regardless of whether or not they have a disability or condition, are encouraged to complete this confidential and anonymous survey, which should take no more than 3-4 minutes.

The survey will run from the 9th of February to the 13th of March and is now accessible from:

DIT is committed to employing and supporting staff with disabilities; staff who have a disability are encouraged to inform their line manager(s) who can then liaise with the Disability Support Service to help accommodate their needs. Information gained through this survey will also prove invaluable in reviewing accessibility in DIT, as well as the ongoing Grangegorman planning process.

Similarly, DIT is committed to responding to staff feedback. Staff who have disabilities are encouraged to provide feedback on their experiences at DIT, so that any necessary and appropriate steps can be taken to provide accommodations.

Under the Disability Act 2005, DIT is required to provide data on the employment of people with disabilities in the public sector. Information gathered will be used for statistical purposes only. Personal details will be kept confidential and reported on anonymously
