DIT Film Fest

The DIT Film Festival is back bigger and better with a mixture of talks, workshops, masterclasses and an awards ceremony the queen herself might even attend. Join us from 2 - 12 March for the second incarnation of our Film Festival. All events are free and open to the public.

Monday 9th March
VFX workshop 'The Greenscreen'
Join us for a workshop dedicated to greenscreening. This practical workshop will teach participants how to setup, light and add in effects in post production. Places are strictly limited so email with your name and student number if you wish to attend.

Tuesday 10th March:
Outdoor Screening
In the lovely outside space in DIT Aungier St we will be screening a classic Irish film. There will be treats, couches, fairylights and a hundred or so students watching a cult classic in harmony.

Wednesday 11th March
Irish Cinematographers Session (tbc)
We will be joined by some directors of photography to discuss the Irish Industry and how you can work your way into it.

Thursday 12th March:
The DIT Student Media Awards
Join us for a celebration of the great work produced in DIT with a black tie event in Gleeson Hall. Wine and food served on the night with an afterparty nearby.

Remember these events are open to both DIT students and the public.We know nobody uses hashtags but sure why not?
