As we approach the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising of 1916, the DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama presents a selection of rehearsed readings, songs and poetry which inspired, and was inspired by, the insurrection in Dublin. ‘A Terrible Beauty – Echoes of Easter 1916’ was developed through a collaborative process involving the writer Peter Sheridan, director Mary Moynihan and researcher Lisa Walsh, with input from first-year students of the BA in Drama (Performance) at the Conservatory. The work is read by first-year drama students at the Conservatory.

There will be two performances on 27th March at 1pm and 7pm in DIT Conservatory, 163 Rathmines Rd Lower. Admission is free and all are welcome! Email to reserve your seat.
