DIT is delighted to be associated with Language Fair 2015, which takes place on Saturday 6th June, 11am – 4pm, at Filmbase, Curved Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.  The event is the first of its kind in Ireland, and is open to all.

The Language Fair itself will showcase language learning and teaching in Ireland.  The event aims to raise awareness and to profile the diversity and vibrancy of language learning at all levels and ages.  Visitors will have the opportunity to meet language practitioners who will be exhibiting their projects and promoting life-long language learning.

In parallel with the Language Fair, there will also be a  Continuous Professional Development event, the ‘Language Experience Abroad”.  During this you can attend presentations, find out about work placement abroad, aspects of intercultural learning, and the use of social media and language resources to support the student mobility experience.

Both events are funded by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, and jointly organised by the IoTs Languages Network and One Voice for Languages.
