Gastronomy Public Lecture at DIT

On Wednesday June 3rd 2015, visiting lecturers Amy Bentley, NYU and Ken Albala, University of the Pacific, both leading figures in the world ofGastronomy, Food History and Food Studies will give a free public lecture in the KOS Theatre at the School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology, Cathal Brugha Street from 6-8pm.

On Wednesday June 3rd 2015, visiting lecturers Amy Bentley, NYU and Ken Albala, University of the Pacific, both leading figures in the world ofGastronomy, Food History and Food Studies will give a free public lecture in the KOS Theatre at the School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology, Cathal Brugha Street from 6-8pm.

 

Amy Bentley is Associate Professor in the Department of Nutrition, Food Studies and Public Health at New York University will speak about The Invention of Baby Food

Ken Albala is Professor of History and Director of Food Studies at the University of the Pacific, San Francisco will speak on Food as Aphrodisiacs.
