The classes are informal, conversation based and levels correspond with the European Certificate in Irish. To date, hundreds of staff and students have attended Irish language classes in DIT.
Information sessions will take place on Tuesday 22nd September from 10 - 12p.m in Aungier St. Foyer and from 1 - 2.30p.m outside An Clós Restaurant, Grangegorman to assist interested staff & students with choosing class levels and to find out more about class content and accreditation.
If you feel that a class structure would not be suitable for you, what about some tea, lots of chatter and discussion? The Gaeilge Conversation Group might be just for you...a group will meet every Wednesday at 11.00am for half an hour in An Clós Restaurant, Grangegorman!
Oifig na Gaeilge will also be organising a programme of social and cultural events this semester to compliment the Irish language classes so do keep an eye on our News page for upcoming events.
