DIT Creative Careers Day at IMMAPosted: 17 October, 2016
The Creative Careers Day is a truly unique event for DIT creative arts students who are currently in their third or fourth year of study and is taking place in Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) on Thursday 10 November from 9.30 am – 3 pm.
Organised by the DIT Career Development Centre, the Creative Careers Day aims to provide an insider’s guide to building a career within the creative industries and will help ‘optimise career potential’. Industry speakers will include vlogging phenomenon and social influencer, Rosemary MacCabe; Olympian athlete and Master Chef winner & author, David Gillick; and social media whizz and member of ‘The Frank and Walters’ member, Cian Corbett.
In addition, there will be a panel discussion with guests from an array of creative backgrounds, the opportunity to meet individuals from a variety of professional bodies, and a photographer who will take professional LinkedIn profile headshots.
