DIT wins two awards at Aviation Industry Awards

DIT won two awards –Academic Education Award and Training Award – at the annual Aviation Industry Awards.

‌Ivan Sheridan, Lecturer in Mechanical and Transport Engineering at DIT, accepted the awards on behalf of DIT.  Eoin Plant, Assistant Head of the School of Transport Engineering, Environment and Planning at DIT, was also present. 

The winners were revealed at a gala ceremony on Wednesday 7 December at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Dublin.

Hundreds of aviation professionals were present at the ceremony, which celebrated the outstanding achievements within the industry, with 19 prestigious trophies presented to the winners.

Launched in 2014, the Aviation Industry Awards continue to be the benchmark for excellence for those demonstrating best practice and innovation in the aviation sector in Ireland.
