Brian has designed his own patent-pending point of care diagnostics in the area of detection of antibiotic resistance genes in bacteria.  He was a participant in the New Frontiers Programme run by DIT Hothouse and has set up his own company BAON Diagnostics.

The IBYE competition promotes entrepreneurship in 18-35 year olds. As a Regional Finalist, Brian will now compete for the title of Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur 2017 (IBYE2017) in March 2017.

We wish Brian the very best of luck at the Finals of Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur 2017.
