DIT President, Professor Brian Norton presents Liam Ryan, SAP with Great Places to Work Most Trusted Leader award 2017

At the presentation of awards, President of DIT, Professor Brian Norton presented the ‘Most Trusted Leader 2017’ Award to Liam Ryan, Managing Director of SAP Labs Ireland.  This award has been sponsored by DIT for eight years and aims to acknowledge those individuals who have demonstrated the highest levels of leadership and integrity.

In his address, Professor Norton said that DIT is proud to sponsor an award that underscores the important role trust plays in leading effectively. Professor Norton emphasised that leadership development is a critical aspect of many of our programmes, especially our flagship MBA programme and also many of the executive education programmes which DIT offers on behalf of partners  in Ireland and Internationally.

DIT has also partnered with the GREAT PLACE TO WORK INSTITUTE in recent years on a series of Leadership events.  The speakers at these events typically provide a case study of leadership challenges within their organisation and honest insights into their own leadership journey. DIT will host its next event on March 28th featuring extreme athlete Gavan Hennigan who recently rowed the Atlantic in record breaking time and who will row from New York to Galway later this year. His story of goal setting, motivation and high performance is truly inspirational.
