DIT Conservatory presents a lunchtime concert of beautiful Brahms' Liebeslieder waltzes and Schumann vocal duets at the National Concert Hall this Friday 12 May.

Conservatory - Love Songs

A Lunch-Hour of Love Songs is a lunchtime concert with performances by vocal students from DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama and accompanists Aoife O'Sullivan and Orla McDonagh on piano, featuring Schumann Vocal Duets and Brahms Liebeslieder Waltzer scored for four voices and piano duet.

The music performed will reflect the charm, intimacy and nostalgia of Brahms’ and Schumann’s vocal ensembles, many of which were based on popular folk songs and love poems. A heartwarming and uplifting hour of beautiful vocal chamber music. 

Featuring Conservatory vocal students: Amy Ní Fhearraigh (Soprano), Martha O'Brien (Mezzo Soprano), Peter O'Reilly (Tenor) and Kevin Neville (Bass).
