Delegation presents German Irish Chamber Brexit Report in BrusselsPosted: 19 July, 2017
A delegation including DIT lecturer Dr Brian Murphy met with Irish MEPs recently to present the findings of a Brexit report.

A delegation from the German-Irish Chamber of Commerce visited Brussels last week to meet with Irish MEPs and to present them with the findings of the Chamber’s Brexit Report. The delegation included DIT lecturer Dr Brian Murphy, Dr Jack Golden (DIT graduate), Ralf Lissek, the CEO of the German-Irish Chamber and current President of the Chamber, Jonathan Hackett.
The delegation met with Irish MEPs Mairead McGuinness, Brian Hayes and Sean Kelly. They were also invited to brief MEPs from the European People’s Party on the findings in their Report and were in turn briefed by Sabine Weyand, Deputy Chief Negotiator at the EU Commission for negotiations with the UK.
