DITSU announce speakers for TEDx event - Friday, 1 December

DIT Students Union (DITSU) have announced the first round of exciting speakers to appear at a TEDx event to take place in DIT Kevin Street on Friday, 1st December.

In the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading,” DITSU has announced the first round of exciting speakers to appear at a TEDx event taking place in DIT Kevin Street. Amongst the first round of speakers to be announced is, Nicki Hoyne, founder of the high fashion brand My Shining Armour which ships to 37 countries and regularly graces the pages of Vogue and Grazia. Also speaking is Áine Mulloy co-founder of the online social network, GirlCrew and winner of the 2017 JCI Dublin Ten Outstanding Young People award.

Simon Scriver is a professional fundraising consultant, coach and trainer. He received Fundraising Ireland's 'Small Budget, Big Impact' award in 2016, and has previously won Supplier of the Year, Eircom's Start-up Award and the Toastmasters UK & Ireland International Speech Contest. The final speaker announced today is Emma Loughney, she joined the core team of Waterford Walls Street Art Project as a social media coordinator in its founding year and is also Communications Manager and EducationUSA Advisor for the Fulbright Commission in Ireland. In her TEDx talk, she will discuss how Street Art can breathe life into a city.
