DIT to host Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science conference

The DIT School of Computing will host the 25th annual conference on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science (AICS) in DIT Grangegorman, 7-8 December.

AICS Conference 2017

The AICS Conference is Ireland's primary forum for researchers with interests in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science, which encompasses Data Analytics, Information Retrieval, and Machine Learning. While once niche areas, these fields are now at the forefront of Irish computing research and industry.

The conference will be chaired by Dr Susan McKeever and Dr John McAuley of the DIT School of Computing. It will include a keynote speech from Dr Vincent Longi, IBM Research, along with presentations on the best new Irish and international research in this area and poster sessions covering promising work by Irish PhD and MSc students.
