Short Biography
Obtained a Degree in Optometry from the Dublin Institute of Technology in 2003. Became a fellow of the Association of Optometrists, Ireland shortly after. Worked as an Optometrist in Ireland and a Dispensing Optician in NSW, Australia 2003-2006. Worked as an Optometrist and Refractive Laser Technician in a Refractive Laser Clinic, Dundrum, Dublin from 2006-2012.
Joined the staff of the Physics Department in DIT, Kevin St. in 2009.

Post Graduate Study
Post Graduate PhD in area of refractive surgery and soft contact lens wear. DIT, 2009-2015.
Currently supervising two PhD students researching the area of Dry eye disease, Demodex Folliculorum and Contact lenses.
