Brief Biography

Graduated from Rand Afrikaans University (RAU) , South Africa with BOptom degree in March 1996. Worked in private practice for nine months. Thereafter appointed as clinical instructor and optometrist at the RAU Optometry Department. Pursued post-graduate studies in Ocular Disease & Pharmaceutical Application and Neural Basis in Optometry through the New England College of Optometry's (USA) International Program. Also graduated with an MSc degree in Investigative Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences from the University of Manchester.

Joined the lecturing staff at DIT in January 2000.
