Pat Goodman BSc PhD

Pat Goodman conducted his undergraduate studies at UCD, graduating with a BSc in Experimental Physics in 1984. He then embarked on an MSc in the area of Atmospheric Physics, and completed these studies in 1985, graduating in 1986. He received a PhD in 1999.

He lectured for a short while in Waterford RTC before joining the Irish Meteorological Service in 1986, where he trained and qualified as a Meteorologist.

Pat Goodman joined the staff of the Physics Department in DIT Kevin St. in 1989. He lectures in the areas of environmental and medical physics, and in general physics.

Pat Goodman is a member of the committee of the Irish Branch of the Institute of Physics, and represents the DIT on that committee.

Pat Goodman is the course director for the course in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement.
