Welcome to the Graduate Research School

DIT offers a research programme of structured education at master and doctoral level

Dear Researcher,

Welcome to the Graduate Research School.

In 2011,  the Dublin Institute of Technology together with the Institutes of Technology in Tallaght and Blanchardstown formed an alliance and have now established a joint Graduate Research School.

The Graduate Research School for the alliance partners defines the community of research students and their supervisors and provides a clear identity for graduate research activities and a forum of information and consultation with both supervisors and research students. It is designed as the over-arching entity for the quality assurance of graduate research and the support and development of graduate education across the organisations. All graduate researchers are, in addition to being registered in their own department/school, members of the Graduate Research School. The Graduate Research School manages the educational programmes and events to enhance the graduate student learning experience and promotes the achievements of the graduate research community.

Staff at the Graduate Research School Office provide a support service across all three partner institutions and we welcome all queries from both current and potential research students and their supervisors.

Head of the Graduate Research School
