Open Days

Find out more about who you will be at DIT

In just a couple of months, you will sit the biggest exam of your life! Now that ditching the school uniform is about to become closer to reality, you might be wondering what a day is like on your programme of choice.

DIT is a big place, with campuses across Dublin City Centre, so if you attended our main Open Day event in Aungier Street, there is a chance that you didn’t get to visit the campus on which you will spend most of your college career. Throughout April, Schools and Colleges across DIT will host individual Open Days providing CAO applicants with the chance to experience life on campus in our Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Kevin Street and Cathal Brugha Street buildings.

Fancy yourself as the next big star in the food world, visit the School of Culinary Arts & Food Technology in our Cathal Brugha Street campus on Wednesday, 25th April. If you reckon you could give Francis Brennan a run for his money, the School of Hospitality Management & Tourism can’t wait to meet you on the same day in Cathal Brugha Street. If succeeding in broadcast news and journalism is your part of your world domination plan, then the School of Media Open Day in Aungier Street on Saturday, 14th April is for you.

Do you ever watch the Apprentice and think to yourself that you could do better? Then attend the College of Business Open Day on Saturday, 21 April to find out all the business-focused programmes available in DIT such as Accounting, Management, Marketing and Logistics. The College of Business in DIT offers you a different experience - it is one of Ireland's largest business schools, but you will benefit from small class sizes, a friendly campus and accessible faculty.

For those who want to design life-changing products or build majestic structures in our cities the Engineering and Built Environment Open Day, will take place in Bolton Street and Kevin Street on 14th April. Meanwhile, the DIT College of Science and Health is inviting the next generation of eminent scientific thinkers to their event on the same day in Kevin Street.
