Dermot Kehily has been a lecturer in the School of Real Estate and Construction Economics in Dublin Institute of Technology since 2007. Dermot has over 15 years work experience in the Construction Industry in both the United States and Ireland as a Quantity Surveyor, Construction Manager, Cost Consultant and Estimator. He has a diverse range of professional experience in a wide range of sectors including Construction Management, Value Management, Project Controls, Life Cycle Costing and Architectural Sustainability. Dermot delivers modules in Quantity Surveying and Cost and Value management on undergraduate courses in DIT and also teaches Sustainable Construction and Life Cycle Costing Analysis on post graduate courses. Dermot has a Masters in Sustainable Development and has an active research interest in Life Cycle Costing Analysis.
